Along with electronic system of insolvency case proceeding, old rule will be effective until September 1. The Parliament approved corresponding amendments to law “On Insolvency Case Proceeding” in third (final) hearing on March 7.

From the middle of March, system of brown marmorated stink bug monitoring will be placed across whole territory of Georgia, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili declared. He promised that results of monitoring of this pest, which caused significant loss to the western Georgia in 2017, will be quickly reported to population.

REHABILITATION OF ROAD SECTION IN ZHINVALI TO BE FINISHED AT THE END OF SUMMER

Rehabilitation of the 6-km section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars highway of international importance is underway in Zhinvali of Dusheti municipality (Mtskheta-Mtianeti region), Roads Department reported. As the Department noted, the works, which started in summer 2017, will be completed by the end of this summer.

BORDERS OF BAKURIANI RECREATIONAL ZONE ARE APPROVED

The government issued the resolution, which assigns status of recreational zone to mountain resort of Bakuriani and defines its borders. Besides, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development approved assignments for Bakuriani recreational territory’s development regulating plan.

ECONOMY MINISTRY: GERMAN AND SPANISH INVESTMENTS IN “MAISON BOUTIQUE HOTEL” EXCEEDED 3.5 MILLION LARI

Today, in the historical area of Tbilisi, Meidan, Maison Boutique Hotel was opened. According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Spanish and German investments in this hotel, which currently has 14 rooms, exceeded 3.5 million lari.

BENEFICIARY OF “PRODUCE IN GEORGIA” PROGRAM TO BE DECLARED BANKRUPT

Kutaisi city court ruled that LLC Tsageri Wine Factory will be declared the bankrupt through cancellation of registration, if creditor of the company not applies within 1 month with request of insolvency proceeding launch. Secured creditor of Tsageri Wine Factory is the state budget (debt – 5,169 lari), while unsecured creditor – the Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry’s Agency Produce in Georgia (125,125 lari).

BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDING LAUNCHED AGAINST “TAC GEORGIA”

Conciliatory council decided to launch bankruptcy proceeding against LLC TAC Georgia (selling of bed linen), reported Tbilisi city court, which approved the mentioned decision. The court noted that its ruling could be objected within 5 days after publication.
