“TI GEORGIA”: AS OF 6 MONTHS, FACTUAL DEFICIT OF GEORGIA’S STATE BUDGET MAKES UP 2.3B LARI
Deficit of Georgia’s state budget was planned for 6 months of 2020 at the level of 924 million lari, while revised because of COVID-19 plan envisages growth of the volume up to 2.06 billion lari (i.e. 2.2 times), specifies TI Georgia, Georgian branch of Transparency International. At that, factual 6-month deficit of the budget amounted to 2.3 billion lari (by 12% more that the revised plan envisaged), the organization notes.
