IN Q2, NUMBER OF VISITORS IN GEORGIA’S DOMESTIC TOURISM SEGMENT INCREASED 2.1 TIMES Y-O-Y, THEIR MONTHLY EXPENSES – 2.3 TIMES

Sakstat reported that average monthly number of local visitors aged 15 years and above amounted in Georgia in the 2^nd quarter to 1.4 million. If compared with the same period of 2020, the number has increased 2.1 times (there was a lockdown in the country a year ago).
