THIS YEAR, GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT TO SUBSIDIZE ONLY SALES OF “RKATSITELI” GRAPE IN KAKHETI

Subsidies for rtveli (vintage) will be carried out this year too, Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared at the government meeting today.

This year, however, the government decided to issue subsidy only to those companies, which purchase and process at least 100 t of grapes of Rkatsiteli variety in Kakheti region, paying farmers at least 1 lari per 1 kg.
