GEORGIA’S BUSINESS ASSOCIATIONS: WE STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH “GEORGIAN DREAM” DECISION TO SUSPEND EU ACCESSION NEGOTIATIONS

“We strongly disagree with the decision of the Georgian Dream leadership to suspend negotiations related to the application for accession to the EU until 2028”, business associations operating in Georgia said in the joint statement.

As the business associations note, “Suspension of the process of European integration creates a great risk that Georgia will miss the window of opportunity for joining the EU, which arose as a result of recent geopolitical changes in the region”.
