IN DECEMBER 2024, GEORGIA’S HICP INCREASED BY 2.4% Y-O-Y

In December 2024, compared to the same period of 2023, Georgia’s harmonized index of consumer price (HICP) has increased by 2.4%, Sakstat reported.

In particular, growth was recorded in such groups, as hotels, cafes and restaurants (by 7.8%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (by 6.1%), education (by 5.4%), healthcare (by 4.4%), food and soft drinks (by 3.1%), etc.
