GEORGIA AND ARMENIA ANNOUNCED ABOUT A NEW STAGE IN BUILDING THE FRIENDLY INTERRELATIONS

The main result of the Georgian President’s visit in Armenia, according to him, is the signing of the declaration on principals of the two countries’ cooperation on a new stage of their interrelations. As Shevardnadze stressed, this declaration is not just a “statement of some general ideas”.




THE GEORGIAN PRESIDENT GOING TO VISIT UKRAINE TOMORROW

160 MEN HAVE CROSSED THE CHECHEN PART OF THE GEORGIAN-RUSSIAN BORDER BY SEPTEMBER 30

According to the Ministry of Refugees and Displaced People, they can not be assumed as refugees as all of them are the Georgian citizens. The representative of the Ministry declared that the situation is under the control and there are not any problems with the placement of the people crossing the border, as they – Kistians (people akin to Chechens) – will either live in their own or at their relatives’ houses.
