National Bank of Georgia reported that retail mortgage credits, issued in national currency, totaled as of June 30 to 1.5 billion lari. This volume has increased by 18.2% quarter-on-quarter and by 92.6% – year-on-year.

National Bank of Georgia reported that corporate mortgage credits, issued in national currency, totaled as of June 30 to 201.77 million lari. This volume has increased by 7.3% quarter-on-quarter and by 37.3% – year-on-year.
AS OF JULY 1, INDUSTRY ACCOUNTED FOR 24.8% IN TOTAL ECONOMY CREDITING, TRADE – FOR 23.4%
National Bank of Georgia reported that credits, issued by commercial banks (in national and foreign currency) as of July 1, to various spheres of national economy totaled to 8.36 billion lari (growth – 0.5% quarter-on-quarter and 9.9% year-on-year).
The biggest share had industry – 24.8% (2.08 billion lari, growth – 7.2% quarter-on-quarter, 13.8% year-on-year).

“GSE” TO COMPLETE INTRODUCTION OF WAM PROGRAM IN 2018
Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) declared that introduction of the program for work and asset management (WAM), which was started in 2016, is planned to finish in 2018.
The 1st stage of the project, which envisaged introduction of the core program, is already completed, GSE said.
ROADS DEPARTMENT: REHABILITATION OF KUTAISI-ALPANA-MAMISONI ROAD SECTION WILL BE COMPLETED IN OCTOBER
Roads Department declared that rehabilitation of 15.2-km section of Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni road of domestic importance (connecting Imereti region with Mamisoni pass on Georgia-Russia border) will be completed in October. Works, conducted since May 2016, employ 25 people.
ELECTRIFICATION OF AJARA ALPINE PASTURES IS UNDERWAY
Ajara government declared that electrification of pastures is already completed on slopes of 10 mountains in Khulo, the most mountainous municipality of the region. For the project, which will benefit to residents of 16 villages, 541,000 lari are spent at this stage, the government said.

Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development declared that innovations center will be created in Telavi (Kakheti region). Respective memorandum was signed between the Ministry’s Agency of Innovations and Technologies and Telavi City Hall.

LLC Sopi-2017 declared obligatory tender offer, which envisages full buy-out of shares of Caucasus Energy&Infrastructure.
The obligatory tender offer will start on August 10 and will last until October 20, the company said.
CONSTRUCTION OF 4 HOTELS TO START IN RESORT GODERDZI
Ajara government reported that construction of 4 hotels in alpine resort Goderdzi is agreed.
Biggest hotel of the three is Goldmine, which will have 100 rooms, the government reported.
