    COMMANDERS OF THE BLACK SEA COUNTRIES COASTGUARD SERVICES AGREED ON COOPERATION

    According to the Georgian State Border Protection Department, co-operation directions were published at the end of the 1st meeting held in Istanbul on May 9. The coastguard services are going to jointly oppose terrorism, illegal turnover of goods, smuggling with drugs, arms, illegal migration, cooperate while conducting rescue operations and preventing the Black Sea pollution, take joint efforts for increasing navigation security.


    HEAD OF ARMENIAN CHURCH ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT IN GEORGIA

    Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II met the President Eduard Shevardnadze and the Georgian Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II. The meeting with the Georgian President was held behind the closed doors.

    PROFIT DISTRIBUTION MECHANISM FOR ENTERPRISES WITH GOVERNMENT SHARE IN CAPITAL REQUIRES IMPROVEMENT

    PRESIDENTIAL DECREE ON TAXATION AND OIL DISTILLATES ACCOUNTING HAS BEEN ALTERED

    On of the articles of the decree has acquired the following form: It is banned to transport more than 40 litters of oil by motor vehicles, distillates (gas, diesel fuel, kerosene) without absolute observation of safety regulations and without special transportation means, excluding fuel in the automobile tanks. The decree of the President “On Arrangements for Improvement of Taxation and Accounting of Oil Distillates” was confirmed in July 1999.


    INVOICE OPERATING MECHANISM IS TO BE MORE CLEAR-CUT, TAX DEPARTMENT NOTES

    The Department works on the improvement of the invoice operating system to that end. The adequate decree of the president of the country is being prepared.


    REGIONAL GROUP COUNTRIES GOING TO PURSUE THE SINGLE ADEQUACY CONCEPTION OF BANKING CAPITAL
