NBG: IN AUGUST, INFLATIONARY EXPECTATIONS OF ECONOMIC ACTIVITY PARTICIPANTS DECREASED COMPARED TO JULY
In August, inflationary expectations of Georgian economic activity participants have decreased compared to July, National Bank of Georgia (NBG) reported. Referring to conducted survey, NBG specified that number of respondents who expect prices to rise above 8% during the next 1 year has decreased.

In total property insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (65.9 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 76%, or 49.8 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.
3 COMPANIES ACCOUNTED FOR 78% OF LIABILITY INSURANCE PREMIUM, ATTRACTED IN GEORGIA DURING 6 MONTHS
In total liability insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (14.5 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 78%, or 11.2 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, the top three did not changed.
3 COMPANIES ACCOUNTED FOR 75% OF CARGO INSURANCE PREMIUM, ATTRACTED IN GEORGIA DURING 6 MONTHS
In total cargo insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (6.78 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 75%, or 5.1 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.
