AVIATION AUTHORITIES OF GEORGIA AND TAJIKISTAN SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ON AIR COMMUNICATION
Georgian Civil Aviation Agency reported about signing of memorandum of understanding with aviation authority of Tajikistan.
As the Agency noted, the memorandum will settle technical issues, related to launch of direct flights, before signing of intergovernmental agreement on air communication.
GEORGIA AND TAJIKISTAN TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON INTERNATIONAL MOTOR TRANSPORTATIONS
Tajikistan is interested in more active use in future of transport opportunities of Georgia, Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development declared.
As the Ministry noted, representatives of Tajik Transport Ministry declared this at their meeting with Georgian colleagues within the visit to Georgia.

Irakli Kovzanadze, chairman of Georgian Parliament’s Fiscal Committee, pointed that amendments, made to law “On Entrepreneurship”, demand presence of at least one independent director in supervisory councils of accountable enterprises. “Role of independent directors is especially important in banking and financial spheres”, he stated.
NEW REGULATION OF NET-ACCOUNTING IS DEVELOPED
New regulation of net accounting allows flat-owners’ partnerships, communities, settlements and villages to generate electricity by means of one micropower plant, working on renewable energy, to consume required volume of electric power and to supply a surplus to distribution network.
While reporting this, Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission noted that consumers will be able to use in any period a surplus of electric power, supplied to distribution network.
ISET-PI: LOSS OF WATER IN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK IS AMONG THE MOST ESSENTIAL CHALLENGES OF WATER SUPPLY IN GEORGIA
Voluminous and chronic loss of water, characteristic for Georgia’s distribution networks, is among the most essential challenges of water supply in Georgia, experts of Policy Institute of International School of Economics at Tbilisi State University (ISET-PI) declare.
According to ISET-PI, share of non-revenue water (NRW) only in urban centers of the country makes up about 700 million cubic m.

Georgian National Wine Agency reported about registration of wine Bolnisi in the Register of Appellations. Bolnisi is dry wine, which can be white, amber, red and pink.
ECONOMY MINISTER: WE CONSIDERED WITH “TEPCO” ISSUES OF CREATION OF FLOATING SOLAR POWER STATIONS IN GEORGIA
“We considered issues of creation and development of floating solar power stations in Georgia” with the Japanese electric utility holding company TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company), Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia declared.
The Minister said this after the meeting with representatives of TEPCO in Japan and noted: “We will hold the next working meeting already in Georgia”.
READY-MADE FOOD ENTERPRISE TO BE BUILT IN AVCHALA INDUSTRIAL ZONE
Georgian National Agency of State Property declared that ready-made food enterprise will be built in Avchala industrial zone in Tbilisi. For that end, over 1.2 million lari will be invested, the Agency said.
