AMENDMENTS TO GEORGIA’S STATE BUDGET-2021 CUT DOMESTIC DEBT BY 150M LARI
Draft amendments to Georgia’s state budget-2021, proposed by the country’s government, set funds, to be received through growth of state liabilities, at 5.12 billion lari. If compared with the previously approved version, the volume is decreased by 154.9 million lari (or by 3%).
AMENDMENTS TO GEORGIA’S STATE BUDGET-2021 INCREASE REVENUES BY 9.6%
Draft amendments to Georgia’s state budget-2021, proposed by the country’s government, set revenues of the state budget at 12.25 billion lari. If compared with the previously approved version, the volume is increased by 1.07 billion lari (or by 9.6%).
AMENDMENTS TO GEORGIA’S STATE BUDGET-2021 INCREASE REVENUES FROM PRIVATIZATION 2.3 TIMES
Draft amendments to Georgia’s state budget-2021, proposed by the country’s government, set revenues from reduction of non-financial assets (privatization) at 350 million lari. If compared with the previously approved version, the volume is increased by 200 million lari (or 2.3 times).
FINANCING OF UNIFIED AGRICULTURAL PROJECT INCREASES BY 35.8%
Draft amendments to Georgia’s state budget-2021, proposed by the country’s government, set financing of the unified agricultural project at 280.7 million lari. If compared with the previously approved version, the volume is increased by 74 million lari (or by 35.8%).
“WASTE DETECTOR”: CENTRAL BUDGET ALLOCATED 225M LARI FOR FUNDING OF THE PATRIARCHATE IN 2013-2021
Waste Detector (a media project of non-governmental organization Governance Monitoring Center (GMC)) reported that the country’s central budget allocated 225 million lari for funding of Georgian Orthodox Patriarchate in 2013-2021.
The Patriarchate receives 25 million lari annually from the central budget, but taking into account the funds allocated from local budget and reserve funds, the funding makes up 29.5 million lari, the organization indicated.
LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENTS APPROVED IN CONNECTION WITH CONSTRUCTION, CARRIED OUT WITH VIOLATIONS
On July 12, Georgian Parliament adopted in third (final) hearing amendments to the Code of Spatial Planning, Architectural and Construction Activities. The amendments regulate the issue related to functioning of buildings that have not been put in operation.
BIDS INVITATION FOR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR POWER PLANT IN KAKHETI IS EXTENDED
Georgian Energy Development Fund declared that deadline for bids invitation, announced on designing and construction of a 5-MW solar power plant in the village of Udabno (Sagarejo municipality of Kakheti region), has been extended until August 16. The bids invitation was announced on July 1, setting the deadline on July 15.
“GEORGIAN LEASING COMPANY” PLACED BONDS OF $12M AND 3M EUR
LLC Georgian Leasing Company accomplished placement of 2-year bonds of $12 million and 3 million EUR on Georgian Stock Exchange. As Galt&Taggart (placement agent) noted, these are respectively, the 6th and the 7th emissions for the company.
