    GEORGIA’S COMMISSION ON EUROPEAN INTEGRATION ADOPTED ACTION PLAN ON DE-OLIGARCHIZATION

    At the meeting today, Georgia’s Commission on Integration into the EU adopted an action plan for so-called de-oligarchization, the Georgian government reported. The plan is developed, following recommendations of the Venice Commission and the EU, the government assures.

    BRITACOM CONFERENCE IN GEORGIA SCOPED IMPROVEMENT OF TAX SYSTEMS

    On September 11-13, Georgia hosted the 4th annual conference on BRITACOM (cooperation of tax administrations within the China’s “Belt and Road” initiative).

    As Georgian Revenue Service reported, the forum has scoped improvement of tax systems’ environment.

    In total accident insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (7.96 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 51%, or 4.06 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.


    3 COMPANIES ACCOUNTED FOR 74% OF OBLIGATIONS EXECUTION INSURANCE PREMIUM, ATTRACTED IN GEORGIA DURING 6 MONTHS

    In total obligations execution insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (6.42 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 74%, or 4.77 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.


    3 COMPANIES ACCOUNTED FOR 64.7% OF TRAVEL INSURANCE PREMIUM, ATTRACTED IN GEORGIA DURING 6 MONTHS

    In total travel insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (5.07 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 64.7%, or 3.28 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.


    3 COMPANIES ACCOUNTED FOR 80% OF FINANCIAL LOSS INSURANCE PREMIUM, ATTRACTED IN GEORGIA DURING 6 MONTHS

    In total financial loss insurance premium, attracted in Georgia during 6 months of this year (4.77 million lari), 3 companies accounted for 80%, or 3.8 million lari, Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared to the same period of 2022, there are changes within the top three.
