5TH TWINNING PROJECT LAUNCHED IN GEORGIAN NATIONAL ENERGY AND WATER SUPPLY REGULATING COMMISSION
Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported about launch of the 5th Twinning project (cooperation between European and Georgian peer public agencies), funded by the EU. The opening ceremony of the project took place in Tbilisi today.
IN 2021, INVESTMENT IN GEORGIA’S ELECTRIC POWER SECTOR WERE 2 TIMES LESS THAN THE PLANNED VOLUME
Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported that investments, made in the country’s electric power sector in 2021, totaled to 256.39 million lari.
At that, the planned volume made up 522.14 million lari, respectively, the factual volume is 2 times less than the plan.
IN 2021, INVESTMENTS IN GEORGIA’S GAS DISTRIBUTION SECTOR 1.8 TIMES EXCEEDED THE PLAN
Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported that investments, made in the country’s gas distribution sector in 2021, totaled to 92.08 million lari.
At that, the planned volume made up 49.9 million lari, respectively, the factual volume 1.8 times exceeds the plan.
IN 2021, INVESTMENTS IN GEORGIA’S GAS MAIN PIPELINES WERE BY 19% LESS THAN THE PLAN
Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported that total cost of investment projects, planned on high-pressure main gas pipelines for 2021, made up 6.21 million lari. In fact, investments of 5.04 million lari were made, i.e. by 19% less than the plan.
IN 2021, INVESTMENTS OF “GWP” AND “RUSTAVIS TSKALI” WERE 1.7 TIMES LESS THAN THE PLAN
Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported that investments, made in 2021 by the licensees of the water supply sector – GWP (Georgian Water&Power, serves Tbilisi and Mtskheta) and Rustavis Tskali (Rustavi Water, serves Rustavi), totaled to 33.2 million lari. In turn, plan totaled to 56.2 million lari, so factual volume of investments was 1.7 times less than the plan.
INVESTMENTS IN “MZIURI GARDENS” COMPLEX IN AJARA MAKES UP 85M LARI
Project of construction of the Mziuri Gardens complex in Ajara (Makhinjauri, 6 km from Batumi) entered its final stage, declared the project’s investor, the Georgian-British venture company MRMU International.
The company said that the total investment cost of the project makes up 85 million lari.
