PRIME MINISTER: I URGE EVERYBODY TO REFRAIN FROM POLITICAL SPECULATION IN CONNECTION WITH “TBC BANK”
TBC Bank is “a system bank and one of the most leading financial institutions, not only for the financial sector, but also for whole our national economy”, Georgia’s Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze indicated.
“Proceeding from this, I want once again to urge everybody to refrain from political speculations”, the Premier declared in Munich, answering question of Georgian journalists concerning TBC Bank.

Case of TBC Bank “is legal and has to be solved in a legal way”, chairman of Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze declared.
Kobakhidze pointed that opposition actively speaks about political implication of this issue, while “I cannot speak about political implication here”.
IN 2019-2020, PROJECT ON IMPROVEMENT OF COMMERCIAL LAW AND PRACTICE TO BE IMPLEMENTED IN GEORGIA
Law program of German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) reported about launch of the project “Improvement of Commercial Law and Practice in Georgia”. The project is calculated for 2019-2020.

We have full support in our international aspirations that Georgia surely has to become member of NATO and EU, Georgia’s Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze declared, while summing up results of Munich security conference, which he had attended.
As the Premier noted, “everybody already agrees that without security guarantees in the Black Sea region, it is impossible to have security guarantees for Europe”.
MINISTRY OF ECONOMICS: EIB WILL PROMOTE IN GEORGIA INTRODUCTION OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ATTRACTION OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS
Today, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kobulia met vice-president of European Investment Bank (EIB) Vasil Hudak.
As Georgian Ministry said, the parties discussed at the meeting EIB investment portfolio in Georgia and key priorities of future cooperation.
HEAD OF NATIONAL FOOD AGENCY: IN 2018, LEAD IS REVEALED ONLY IN 2% OF FOOD SAMPLES, AGAINST OF 17.5% IN 2017
Zurab Chekurashvili, head of Georgian National Food Agency, declared that lead in 2018 was revealed only in 2% of examined samples, whereas in 2017 – in 17.5%.
“It is important that content of lead did not exceed norm in 2018 in samples of baby food, as well as fish, bakery products, grain and vegetables”, Chekurashvili pointed.
