Sakstat reported that highest average monthly nominal salary of female employees was recorded in the 4^th quarter of 2017 in production and distribution of electricity power, gas and water – 1,408 lari. If compared with the same period of 2016, the showing has increased by 7.2%.

IN 2017, NET PROFIT OF INSURANCE COMPANIES INCREASED BY 7.85%

In 2017, net profit of insurance companies totaled to 20.34 million lari, State Service for Insurance Supervision reported. If compared with 2016, the volume has increased by 7.85%.

EXPERTS OF “BUREAU VERITAS” STUDY REASONS OF INCIDENT ON GUDAURI ROPEWAY

Experts of French company Bureau Veritas arrived to Georgia for studying of reasons of incident, occurred on the ropeway in the mountain resort of Gudauri, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported.

The Ministry said that representatives of Austrian company Doppelmayr, which built the ropeway in 2016, have also arrived to Georgia.
