    AS OF SEPTEMBER, LOANS IN GEORGIA INCREASED BY 18.6% Y-O-Y

    National Bank of Georgia reported that as of September 30, the volume of loans, issued by Georgian banks, totaled to 43.2 billion lari, increasing by 14.4% year-on-year (excluding the exchange rate effect).

    Taking the exchange rate effect into account, loans increased by 5.4% year-on-year, while the real growth (i.e. with additional accounting of inflation) made up negative 6.1%.


    AS OF SEPTEMBER, DEPOSITS IN GEORGIA INCREASED BY 24.1% Y-O-Y

    National Bank of Georgia reported that as of September 30, volume of deposits, placed in Georgian banks, totaled to 42 billion lari, increasing by 24.1% year-on-year (excluding the exchange rate effect).

    Taking the exchange rate effect into account, deposits increased by 17.3% year-on-year, while the real growth (i.e. with additional accounting of inflation) made up 5.8%.


    “ASURETULI SCHALA” GOT STATUS OF A GEORGIAN WINE WITH THE NAME OF APPELLATION

    Sakpatenti (Geopatent, Georgian authority for intellectual rights) reported that Asuretuli Schala has been granted the status of a Georgian wine with the name of appellation. Sakpatenti got the corresponding request from the regional development center of Asureti in April.

    “GEORGIAN ENERGY DEVELOPMENT FUND” FINISHED 2021 WITH LOSS

    State owned JSC Georgian Energy Development Fund finished 2021 with loss of 7 million lari. In 2020, the fund had net profit of 1 million lari.


    IN 2021, PROFIT OF ELECTRICITY MARKET OPERATOR INCREASED BY 75%

    Net profit of Georgia’s Electricity Market Operator (state-owned JSC Electricity System Commercial Operator) for 2021 made up 7 million lari. If compared with 2020, the volume has increased by 75%.


    JSC “GEORGIAN STATE ELECTROSYSTEM” FINISHED 2021 WITH PROFIT

    Net profit of JSC Georgian State Electrosystem (single licensee of electricity transmission and dispatching) for 2021 made up 235 million lari. In 2020, the company had loss of 48 million lari.


    IN 2021, NET PROFIT OF JSC “SAKRUSENERGO” INCREASED BY 27%

    JSC Sakrusenergo (GeoRusEnergy) finished 2021 with net profit of 14 million lari. If compared with 2020, the volume has increased by 27%.


    LLC “ENGURHES” FINISHED 2021 WITH PROFIT

    Net profit of state-owned LLC EngurHES for 2021 made up 42 million lari. In 2020, the company had loss of 54 million lari.
