    August 5, 2022 - Anri Okhanashvili, chairman of Georgian Parliament’s Legal Issues Committee, declared that the Ukrainian law on de-oligarchization will be adapted to Georgian realities. Okhanashvili is heading the newly created working group on de-oligarchization.


    REZONANSI: “OWNERS CANNOT EVICT NON-PAYING TENANTS FROM APARTMENTS IN ANY WAY”

    August 4, 2022 - Today, owners of real estate in Georgia are absolutely unprotected against non-paying tenants, the newspaper says.

    In 2015, the rule of police eviction was annulled and replaced with the norms of court eviction.

    August 4, 2022 - The share of wine exports in Georgia’s total exports from 2015 to 2021 averaged 5.7%. Wine is the 4th largest article in Georgia’s commodity export.

    REZONANSI: “IN GEORGIA, ADVENTURE AND EXTREME TOURISM IS LEFT ON ITS OWN”

    August 4, 2022 - The safety of consumers of entertainment and extreme tourism in Georgia is not protected even at a minimum level, the reason for which is the lack of appropriate legislation, the newspaper points.

    Tourism specialist Maia Murachashvili says that the government is working on a law on tourism and until that law enters in force, tourism will not be safe.
