Georgian National Subsoil Agency and EBRD launched together the new program of technical cooperation for further development of mining sector, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported. As the Ministry noted, duration of the program makes up 9 months.

Today, Georgia’s business ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze and chairman of board of German Economic Association Sasha Ternes signed in Tbilisi the memorandum of cooperation. After signing, Lekvinadze met representatives of about 60 member companies of the Association.

UNICEF SURVEY: IN GEORGIA, AVERAGE MONTHLY INCOME OF URBAN HOUSEHOLDS EXCEEDS ONE OF RURAL HOUSEHOLDS BY 29%

“The Welfare Monitoring Survey 2017” of UNICEF indicates that in Georgia, average nominal income of urban household amounts to 867.1 lari, while of rural one – to 672.7 lari. Respectively, the survey indicates, income of urban household exceeds by 28.9% on average the one of rural household.

UNICEF SURVEY: GENERAL POVERTY IN GEORGIA INCREASED FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS

“The Welfare Monitoring Survey 2017” of UNICEF states that indicator of general poverty in Georgia increased since previous study (the survey is made once in 2 years). If this indicator in 2015 made up 16.4% of total households (18.4% of population), it has increased in 2017 up to 19.6% (21.7% of population), the survey specifies.

“SAKARTVELOS BANKI” TO START ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ON SOLE PROPRIETORS AND LLCS REGISTRATION

Service-centers of Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) will accept applications on registration of sole proprietors and LLCs. As the bank specified, submission of the applications will be possible since June 18 in several service centers, while since July 1 – in all centers countrywide.

Today, LLC AluTech Georgia opened aluminum windows and doors manufacturing enterprise in Tbilisi (Kiziki St. 24). According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, its Agency Produce in Georgia provides co-financing of interest on the credit of the company.
