LAND SALE TO FOREIGNERS IS TEMPORARY BANNED

According to amendments, drafted for bill “On Agricultural Land Ownership”, obtaining of land ownership right is suspended to the foreigners and foreign legal entities until January 1, 2015. Authors of this legislative initiative are MPs Zurab Tkemaladze and Gigla Agulashvili.

The newspaper reviews again a dispute, arisen around the car-building holding (which unites electric car-repair and car-building plants). The subtitle of the article says: “Sakvarelidze was protected by Saakashvili-Nogaideli-Bezhuashvili, while Badri Tsilosani – by Kezerashvili-Ezugbaia?” Initially, the newspaper has reported position of Badri Tsilosani, head of the holding, who accused former partner Avtandil Sakvarelidze of misappropriation of the factory and collecting of debt of 73 million lari.
