Within the Prague format (informal Russian-Georgian negotiations), online meeting between Georgian Prime Minister’s special envoy in relations with Russia Zurab Abashidze and member of Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation Grigory Karasin was held on November 29. While commenting on the meeting, Abashidze said that “Russian side mentioned subject of air communication’s renewal”.

ECONOMY MINISTER: ISSUE OF PROVISION WITH MEDICAL OXYGEN IS COMPLETELY RESOLVED IN THE COUNTRY

Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said that because of COVID-19 pandemic, consumption of medical oxygen in medical institutions of the country increased about 3 times, exceeding now 80 t a day. However, issue of provision with medical oxygen is completely resolved in the country, she assured.

Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported that in total premium, attracted by Georgian insurers in 9 months of this year (513.2 million lari), 5 types of insurance account for 87.8%, or 451 million lari. Medical insurance is on the first position again – 41.2% of total premium (i.e. 211.3 million lari, year-on-year growth – 16.7%).

Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported that in total reimbursements of Georgian insurers for 9 months of this year (433.2 million lari), 5 companies account for 41%, or 177.7 million lari. Aldagi is on the first position, accounting for 10.9% of total volume (i.e. for 47.3 million lari, year-on-year growth – 2.3 times).
