GEORGIAN STATE AUDIT SERVICE: IDENTIFIED SHORTCOMING IN INVESTMENT PROJECTS MANAGEMENT IS ESSENTIAL CHANGE IN PLANS

Georgian State Audit Service declared that identified shortcoming in management of investment projects is essential change in plans of these projects, which indicates flawed process of planning. This shortcoming affects the process of project implementation, which is expressed often in undeveloped resource or significant overspending of funds, the Service indicated.

GEORGIAN STATE AUDIT SERVICE POINTS AT SHORTCOMINGS IN PLANNING INCOME AND EXPENSES OF LEPL AND NON-PROFIT LEGAL ENTITIES

Based on analysis of the Georgian budget for 2021, the State Audit Service pointed at shortcomings in the process of planning income and expenses of legal entities of public law (LEPL) and non-profit/non-entrepreneurial legal entities. In particular, 17 departments had planned their income and expenses in 2021 as zero.
