POTENTIAL MAXIMUM OF AMOUNT BEING DISPUTED WITHIN 7 ONGOING LITIGATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION MAKES UP 13% OF GEORGIA’S GDP FOR 2021
Georgian Justice Ministry reported that as of September 23, international arbitrations considered 7 lawsuits with Georgia as a side. The potential maximum of the disputed amount within framework of these lawsuits makes up about $2.81 billion (or 7.87 billion lari), which corresponds to 13% of Georgia’s GDP for 2021, says fiscal risks analysis, enclosed by the Georgian government to the draft state budget-2023.
