LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENTS APPROVED REGARDING ELECTRICITY SUPPLIES TO OCCUPIED TERRITORIES OF GEORGIA

Today, Georgia’s parliament approved (by 81 votes) in third (final) hearing amendments to the law “On Energy and Water Supply”.

The amendments add a transitional provision to the law, which establishes rule for calculation of electricity generation tariffs for those regulated power plants that supply electricity (free of charge) to the occupied territories of Georgia (i.e. to Abkhazia).
