IN 2024, GEORGIA’S RATIO OF CURRENT ACCOUNT DEFICIT TO GDP INCREASED BY 0.1 PP
In 2024, Georgia’s negative balance of international payments made up 4.4% of GDP, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) reported. In 2023, this ratio made up 4.3% (respectively, growth in 2024 made up 0.1 percentage points (pp)).
