NETGAZETI.GE: “CHILD POVERTY RATE INCREASED BY 6%, 369,924 CHILDREN REQUIRE SUBSISTENCE ALLOWANCE – OMBUDSMAN”
In 2024, number of children registered in a unified database of socially vulnerable families increased by 6.51%, annual report of the Georgian Public Defender (Ombudsman) indicates. The database has records on 369,924 children under the age of 18, of which 270,712 receive a living allowance.
