IN Q1, DEMAND FOR GEORGIAN TREASURY BILLS 2.3 TIMES EXCEEDED PLACEMENT, RATES DECREASED
At 8 auctions, held in the 1st quarter, demand for Georgian treasury bills (maturity period – 182 and 364 days) totaled to 584 million lari, the National Bank of Georgia reported. Placement (face value) during the reporting period was equal to announced emission and made up 250 million lari (accordingly, demand 2.3 times exceeded placement).
