“TBC CAPITAL”: THE US TARIFFS – MODERATE IMPACT ON GROWTH, BROADLY NEUTRAL ON LARI EXCHANGE RATE
Impact of recently imposed by the US (though suspended for now) “reciprocal” tariffs on economic growth is moderately negative, while on lari exchange rate – broadly neutral, TBC Capital considers. Regarding lari rate, the company assesses that “the domestic component remains a more important GEL driver, at least in the near term, for which we maintain our broadly neutral stance”.
