During the period after the parliamentary elections in Georgia (October 2024), Georgian Dream deputy Giorgi Chkonia won tenders worth 37.1 million lari, announced for 5 public procurements, reported TI Georgia, Georgian branch of Transparency International.

In this amount, 91.7% derived from 4 tenders announced by the Urban Infrastructure and Improvement Office (Batumi municipal non-profit legal entity), while the rest – from the tender of Ajara Roads Department.
