   Agordzineba bloc leader, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara Autonomy, one of the presidential candidates, declared that he was informed only right before the nomination of one more representative of the bloc, Jumber Patiashvili, as the presidential candidate. According to Abashidze, this came as a surprise, not unacceptable however, to him.

   Mark Banzon has visited the UN representation and met with Zurab Zhvania at the Parliament. During the visit of the Public Health and Social Welfare Ministry Bezon declared that World Health Organization was going to conduct the work in Georgia on the following directions: assistance in controlling the contagion, population behavioral problems (smoking, alcohol), environmental problems and the public health system development.
