    IN Q3, TURNOVER OF GEORGIAN BUSINESS SECTOR INCREASED BY 17.4% Y-O-Y

    Sakstat released estimation, according to which turnover of Georgian business sector in the 3rd quarter totaled to 47.5 billion lari. If compared with the same period of 2021, the volume has increased by 17.4%.


    IN Q3, OUTPUT OF GEORGIAN BUSINESS SECTOR INCREASED BY 25.8% Y-O-Y

    Sakstat released estimation, according to which output of Georgian business sector in the 3rd quarter totaled to 18.9 billion lari. If compared with the same period of 2021, the volume has increased by 25.8%.


    IN Q3, TBILISI ACCOUNTED FOR 76.6% OF GEORGIAN ENTERPRISES’ TURNOVER AND 63.6% OF OUTPUT

    Sakstat released estimation, according to which in total turnover of Georgian enterprises for the 3rd quarter (47.5 billion lari), Tbilisi accounted for 76.6%. A year ago (i.e. in the 3rd quarter of 2021), the share made up 77.2%.


    IN Q3, AVERAGE NOMINAL SALARY IN GEORGIAN BUSINESS SECTOR INCREASED BY 17.7% Y-O-Y

    Sakstat released estimation, according to which average nominal monthly salary in Georgian business sector in the 3rd quarter made up 1,714 lari. If compared with the same period of 2021, the volume has increased by 17.7% (by 258.7 lari).


    PREMIER: BANKS AND FINANCIAL SECTOR WILL NOT TURN TO SO-CALLED ESTONIAN MODEL AND INCOME TAX FOR THEM WILL INCREASE

    Banks and financial sector of the country are “no longer turning” to the so-called Estonian model of taxation (exemption from profit tax in case of reinvestment), Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili declared at the government meeting today. We will keep the existing model for them, he noted.


    PREMIER: WE WILL PUT OVER 100 RESORT OBJECTS FOR SALE

    There are up to 300 climatic and balneological resorts and resort places in Georgia, most of which simply do not function, Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili indicated.

    “We have studied the current situation and the development potential of over 100 resorts and will put them up for sale”, the Premier declared at the government meeting today.


    REHABILITATION OF KUTAISI OPERA AND BALLET THEATER TO COST ABOUT 21M LARI

    The Kutaisi Professional State Opera and Ballet Theater will be fully rehabilitated, Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili declared at the government meeting today. We started working on this issue last year, and the project has already been drawn up, he said.

    JSC “NIKORA” PLACED BONDS OF 35M LARI

    JSC Nikora placed 3-year bonds worth 35 million lari on the Georgian Stock Exchange through a public emission (with assistance of TBC Capital and Galt&Taggart).

    It should be noted that Georgian Pension Agency made investment in the emission, which became the first acquisition of local corporate securities for it.
