NBG: EFFICIENCY IN Q2 INCREASED BY 4.3% Y-O-Y
Real added value, produced per occupied in Georgian economy (efficiency), has increased in the 2nd quarter by 4.3% year-on-year, National Bank of Georgia (NBG) said in its recent monetary policy report.
As NBG noted, efficiency more or less equally grew in services, agriculture and industrial branches.
SOME OBLIGATIONS, PROVIDED BY THE CODE OF WASTE MANAGEMENT, IS PLANNED TO POSTPONE
Georgian Parliament considers amendments to the Code of Waste Management, which postpone a number of envisaged obligations.
Certain obligations will be postponed until January 1, 2025, instead of initially envisaged January 1, 2020, as it became clear that businessmen are actually not ready to fulfill these obligations, the Parliament specified.
PRIME MINISTER: WE WILL FINALLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF LAND REGISTRATION IN THE NEXT 3 YEARS
“In conditions of further development of sporadic and systematic registration, we will finally resolve this issue (land registration) within the next 3 years”, Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia declared at the government meeting today.
The meeting considered respective legislative amendments, which were presented by the Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani.
WORKS ON PROTECTION AGAINST MUD STREAMS ARE CARRIED OUT IN RUSTAVI
Georgian Roads Department reported about works on protection against mud streams in Rustavi, which should be completed in autumn 2020.
According to the Department, the project worth 12.47 million lari is financed from the state budget.
