BECAUSE OF HIGH RISK OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK, RESTRICTIONS ARE INTRODUCED IN MESTIA MUNICIPALITY

Interdepartmental coordination council, created by Georgian government for fight against COVID-19 spread, decided today to impose restrictions in Mestia municipality (mountainous Zemo Svaneti region).

In particular, movement in both direction, from and to the municipality is limited.

THE GOVERNMENT: AS OF AUGUST 7, CREDITS OF 31M LARI ARE ISSUED WITHIN PREFERENTIAL AGROLENDING PROGRAM

Georgian government stated that agriculture-supporting programs became part of anti-crisis plan and are adjusted to current needs of farmers.

In 2019, LLC Tegeta Motors had profit of 6.96 million lari. According to financial statements of the company, the volume has decreased year-on-year by 37.8%.




NEW COLD STORAGE OPENED IN KVEMO KARTLI REGION

In Kvemo Kartli region, LLC Agrocomplex opened new cold storage facility, Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture reported. As the Ministry noted, the enterprise was launched with financial support of Georgian government and USAID.
