ANOTHER IMF MISSION ARRIVED TO GEORGIA
Georgian Finance Ministry reported that the Minister Ivane Machavariani met today with the IMF mission, which will work in Georgia for 2 weeks.
As the Ministry said, the parties considered course of the IMF program, fiscal parameters of the current year, economic dynamics in the country and the region and key parameters of the budget-2019.
NBG APPROVED RULE OF PROSPECTUS’ PREPARATION
National Bank of Georgia (NBG) declared that within development of supervising framework, rule of prospectus preparation (the companies’ shares and bonds) is approved. The rule will enter in force on January 1, 2019.
BANKING COMMISSION OF ICC HELD ITS ANNUAL TECHNICAL MEETING IN TBILISI
Tbilisi hosted the annual technical meeting of banking commission of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) reported.
As the bank said, 250 representatives from 65 countries took part in the meeting, including bankers, businessmen, lawyers and representatives of international organizations.
41-KM SECTION OF KUTAISI BYPASS ROAD TO BE EXPANDED WITH 2 LANES
Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure declared about start of construction of additional 2 lanes on already 2-lane 41.3-km section of Kutaisi bypass road (part of East-West Highway, E60). The works are expected to be completed in autumn 2020.
TBILISI CITY HALL: IN 9 MONTHS, DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIONS SPENT OVER 100M LARI FOR PROJECTS
Tbilisi City Hall reported that gamgeobas (district administrations) of Tbilisi spent during 9 months over 100 million lari in various directions.
While declaring this at the capital government meeting today, the Mayor Kakha Kaladze noted that “all gamgeobas have rates of budget mastering and execution ranging from 93% to 100%”.
