IRI SURVEY: 76% OF RESPONDENTS CONSIDER THAT ECONOMIC SITUATION IN GEORGIA DETERIORATED
The latest survey of public opinion in Georgia shows that citizens are concerned about economic problems, political polarization and increased danger from Russia, the International Republican Institute (IRI) declared.
In particular, when asked how the economic situation in the country has changed over the past year, 76% of respondents say that the situation has deteriorated, significantly or more or less.
GEORGIAN SIDE DISCUSSED COOPERATION WITH OECD
Georgia’s Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with Ben Dickinson, head of the Global Cooperation and Development Department at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), in Tbilisi today.
As the Georgian Finance Ministry reported, the parties discussed issues of ongoing and future cooperation between Georgia and OECD.

Georgian Revenue Service declared that it will get support from the Italian tax administration in the direction of the advanced pricing agreement (APA) on international controlled transactions. The parties signed respective memorandum of understanding on April 27 in Tbilisi.

MINISTER OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE: BY THE END OF 2025, MUNICIPAL REVENUES WILL MAKE UP AT LEAST 7% OF GDP
Irakli Karseladze, Georgia’s Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, declared that as a result of implementation of the decentralization strategy, revenues of municipalities by the end of 2025 will amount to at least 7% of the country’s GDP. He said this today, at a meeting of the governmental commission on the reform of local self-government and decentralization.
