    Nodar Grigalashvili, the chairman of the Committee, says all proposals of the committee were taken into account in the draft.

    According to the conclusion of the financial monitoring group of the Central Election Commission, for election campaign (the October 5 local elections) the ruling National Movement received the greatest size of funds among six parties and alliances taking part in the election. 3.66 million lari total came from 143 entities, including 123 – legal entities.

    Yesterday’s statement by Gazprom officials that the company would reduce gas prices in exchange for buying some entities in Georgia has prompted discussions over the question in the State Office and Parliament today.

    Commenting on the announcement at a government meeting today, Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli said that statement was a “political blackmail”.
