Rezonansi: “CHIKVILADZE FALLS A VICTIM TO DUTCH BUSES”

According to the Tbilisi City Hall, the key reason for the resignation of Zurab Chikviladze, head of the Tbilisi transportation service, is that the service is being upgraded. Mamuka Akhvlediani, head of the City Hall office, says from now on the JSC Metropoliteni will be under the jurisdiction of the service.
FIGHT AGAINST LEPIDOPTEROUS INSECTS LAUNCHED IN THE ZUGDIDI DISTRICT

The Zugdidi district (the Samegrelo region), which has been suffering from the infestation of lepidopterous insects, has launched fight against the insects, reports the National Service of Food Safety, Veterinary and Plant Protection. Zurab Lipartia, the vice chairman of the service, says the active measures against the insects should be made in July-August.
