    LORTKIPANIDZE HAS LEFT FOR MOSCOW TO ATTEND THE SESSION OF THE RUSSIAN-GEORGIAN ECONOMIC COMMISSION

    According to the information delivered from Moscow, the State Minister of Georgia Vazha Lortkipanidze, who arrived in Moscow today to participate in the work of the III session of the Russian-Georgian intergovernmental economic commission, is going to meet with the Prime-Minister of RF Sergei Stepashin on the eve of the session. Lortkipanidze went to Moscow on the invitation of the Russian government, which proposed to combine the State Minister’s official visit with the participation in the work of the bilateral commission.


    GEORGIAN OFFICER WILL BE TRAINED IN ITALY BY THE PROGRAM OF NATO

    The representative of the Georgian armed forces in the NATO headquarters David Nairashvili is going to Italy, where he will be trained by the Northern-Atlantic block program. This is the information delivered at the General Staff of the Georgian armed forces.


    THE RUSSIAN SERVICEMEN HAVE LEFT THE TERRITORY OF 15TH CANTONMENTS

    The Russian servicemen have left the territory of 15 cantonments in Akhalkalaki region (the south of Georgia), where 62nd Russian military base has been located. This territory is going to be occupied by the Georgian military servicemen.

    Today, the president of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze went to visit the eastern mountainous part of Georgia Mta-Tusheti. This is one of the biggest animal-breeding centers in Georgia.

    TWO OF THE FIVE MEMBERS OF THE GEORGIAN COMMISSION OF SECURITIES HAVE TO BE GEORGIAN RESIDENTS

    The commission will control all the operations at Georgian stock market. The 2:5 relation was envisaged by the amendment to the law “About the market of securities” made last week at the special session of the Parliament.


    GEORGIA WILL NOT PAY FOR ITS SERVICES
