    GEORGIAN DELEGATION WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE CIS PRIMES’ MEETING

    It is envisaged finally to set the date of the CIS summit in the course of this meeting going to be held tomorrow in Yalta. The members of the session will conduct hearing of the information on the process of decisions’ implementation and the further steps for the settlement of the Abkhaz conflict.


    AMBASSADOR OF GEORGIA HANDED CREDENTIALS TO THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE

    Before her appointment as an ambassador Lana Gogoberidze was the chairman of the majority at the Parliament of Georgia. She headed the Georgian Parliamentary delegation during the entry negotiations with the Council of Europe.

    This is the decision adopted at the session of Central Electoral Committee (CEC) last night. On October 6, at 6 p.m. was the deadline for registering of the slates.


    DELEGATION OF CITIZENS’ UNION MET VOTERS IN DUSHETI

    BUDGET REVENUES FROM CUSTOMS FELL BACK IN SEPTEMBER

    According to the Customs Department’s data, the volume of import was equal to $38 million and only $18 million out of it was subject to taxation. So, from the whole sum, the humanitarian aid made up $8 million.


    STATE BUDGET HAS RECEIVED 116.92M LARI IN SEPTEMBER

    This is the information delivered by the Finance Ministry supporting on the NB and Treasury Department’s data. From the whole sum 29.66 million Lari has been made by tax and non-tax revenues and the earnings of the special funds, 17.55 million – grants, 0.2 million – earnings from the treasury notes, 49.75 million – NB credits and 19.76 – by foreign financial backing.


    ENTERPRISES UNDER THE INDUSTRY MINISTRY’S CONTROL, HAVE ISSUED PRODUCTION ALMOST WORTH OF 15M LARI IN SEPTEMBER

    According to the Industry Ministry’s data, it 4-5 times exceeds the last year’s showings.

    Rustavi JSC Azot has issued production worth of 3.3 million Lari in September, including 29,000-t ammoniac nitre.
