Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that 203,808 containers (TEUs) were processed in the country’s seaports within 6 months of this year. If compared with the same period of 2020, the showing has reduced by 23.8%.

Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that 8.4 million t of freights were processed in the country’s seaports and terminals in 6 months of this year. If compared with the same period of 2020, the volume has decreased by 4.6%.
IN H1, CARGO TRANSPORTED BY GEORGIAN TRANSPORT BY 3.7% Y-O-Y
Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that in January-June, 19.4 million t of cargo were transported by Georgian transport (motor transport, railway, civil aviation). If compared with the same period of 2020, the volume has increased by 3.7%.
IN H1, NUMBER OF PASSENGERS TRANSPORTED BY GEORGIAN TRANSPORT DECREASED BY 10.7% Y-O-Y
Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that 100.24 million passengers were transported by Georgian transport in the first half of this year. If compared with the same period of 2020, the number has decreased by 10.7%.
IN 6 MONTHS, 5 TYPES OF INSURANCE ACCOUNTED FOR 88.2% OF TOTAL ATTRACTED PREMIUM
Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported that in total premium, attracted by Georgian insurers in 6 months of this year (448.6 million lari), 5 types of insurance accounted for 88.2%, or 395.8 million lari.
Medical (health) insurance is still on the first position – 43.5% of the total volume (194.95 million lari, year-on-year growth – 13.7%).
IN 6 MONTHS, 5 TYPES OF INSURANCE ACCOUNTED FOR 92.3% OF TOTAL REIMBURSEMENTS
Georgian State Service for Insurance Supervision reported that in total reimbursements of Georgian insurers for 6 months of this year (193.4 million lari), 5 types of insurance account for 92.3%, or 178.6 million lari.
The first position is occupied by medical (health) insurance with reimbursements of 115.6 million lari, year-on-year growth – 32.7%.
