    GEORGIA TO CONSIDER START OF FREE-TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH KOREA

    Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported that conduction of feasibility study regarding start of negotiations on free-trade agreement with Republic of Korea is planned. The Ministry noted that preliminary consultations on the subject already were held.

    NBG BROUGHT $40M FOR SALE, SOLD $37.2M

    National Bank of Georgia (NBG) declared about selling of $37.2 million at the currency auction today, noting that $40 million were brought. Average weighted exchange rate made up 3.3169 GEL/USD.


    INNOVATIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES AGENCY: 3,000 IT SPECIALISTS WILL BE RETRAINED FOR THE NEXT 2 YEARS

    Georgian Agency of Innovations and Technologies declared that 3,000 IT specialists (software engineering, project management, AI, design, cyber security, networks, etc.) will be retrained for the next 2 years. Retraining will be carried out within GENIE (Georgia National Innovation Ecosystem project, funded by the World Bank).
