Sakstat reported that Georgia’s production of milk totaled in 2020 to 572.5 million l. If compared with 2019, the volume has increased by 1.9%.

Sakstat reported that Georgia’s export of cattle totaled in 2020 to 75,000 heads. If compared with 2019, the volume has decreased by 21.5%.

PROFIT OF “TBC BANK” DECREASED 3.2 TIMES IN 2020
Georgia’s largest TBC Bank reported net profit of 123.2 million lari for 2020. According to just released quarterly report of the bank, the volume has reduced 3.2 times, if compared with 2019.
IN 2020, PROFIT OF “SAKARTVELOS BANKI” REDUCED 6.8 TIMES
Georgia’s second biggest Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) reported net profit of 57.1 million lari for 2020. According to just released quarterly report of the bank, the volume has reduced 6.8 times, if compared with 2019.
“LIBERTY BANK” FINISHED THE YEAR 2020 WITH LOSSES
Liberty Bank reported net loss of 15.2 million lari for 2020. According to just released quarterly report of the bank, it had profit of 26.8 million lari in 2019.
IN 2020, PROFIT OF “PROCREDIT BANK” REDUCED 6.5 TIMES
ProCredit Bank reported net profit of 3.5 million lari for 2020. According to just released quarterly report of the bank, the volume has reduced 6.5 times, if compared with 2019.

OPPONENTS OF HYDRO PLANT’S CONSTRUCTION IN RACHA-LECHKHUMI SUBMITTED PETITION TO THE PARLIAMENT
At the meeting today, Georgian Parliament’s Committee on Branch Economy and Economic Policy considered a petition, submitted by 10,135 citizens in connection with construction of large hydroelectric power plants in Racha-Lechkhumi region. As the Parliament reported, the petition claim that planned construction of OniHES and NamakhvaniHES series of hydroelectric stations in Racha-Lechkhumi will endanger not only nature of Rioni River gorge, but also residents of the region and even of Kutaisi.
