Colliers Georgia reported that in the first half of the year, 822 transactions on land plots of residential purpose were recorded in Tbilisi and its suburbs. If compared with the same period of 2019, the number has increased by 56%, the company said.

Colliers Georgia reported that in the first half of this year, 16,383 transactions on residential real estate were recorded in Tbilisi. If compared with the same period of 2020, the number has increased by 54%, while if compared with the first half of 2019 – by 3%, the company noted.

Colliers Georgia reported that in the first half of this year, 5,139 transactions on residential real estate were recorded in Batumi. If compared with the same period of 2020, the number has increased by 64%, while if compared with the first half of 2019 – by 17%, the company noted.
GEORGIAN PREMIER: THE GOVERNMENT SPENT 37M LARI ON CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX FOR IDPS
Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili declared that the government has spent 37 million lari on construction of a new residential complex for internally displaced persons (IDPs). He said this in Tskaltubo (Imereti region), where 420 IDP families received keys of apartments today.

TI Georgia, Georgian branch of Transparency International, prepared review of large infrastructural projects, which “politicians have pledged to implement in Kutaisi”, but “most of them are not even started yet”.
These projects include Dream City in Kutaisi, railway branch to Kutaisi airport, electric car factory, reconstruction of up to 70 houses on both banks of Rioni River, rehabilitation of David Kakabadze Art Gallery and a staircase of 100 steps.
AGRICULTURE MINISTRY: ALMOST HALF OF GRAPE HARVEST IN KAKHETI IS PROCESSED
Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture reported that as of September 17, up to 130,000 t of grapes were processed in Kakheti (Georgia’s main wine-growing region). This makes up about 50% of the expected harvest and 2 times exceeds the showing of the same period of 2020, the Ministry noted.
