CREATION OF NATIONAL AGENCY FOR STEADY LAND MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING OF LAND USE IS PLANNED IN OCTOBER
According to the draft of organic law “On Ownership of Land of Agricultural Purpose”, creation of National Agency for Steady Land Management and Land Usage Monitoring is envisaged after October 1 of this year. As explanatory note to the draft specifies, functioning of the Agency before end of the year will require about 150,000 lari.

MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND AGRICULTURE: IN THE 4TH PHASE OF ENPARD, EMPHASIS WILL BE PLACED ON ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURE
Within the 4th phase of the European Neighborhood Program for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD), emphasis will be placed on environmental aspects and sustainable development of agriculture, Georgian Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture reported. As the Ministry said, key components of the program were considered today at the meeting of the Deputy Minister Khatia Tsilosani with European Commission representatives Matthew Bousquet and Michaela Hauf.
NBG STARTED PUBLICATION OF TIBR TERM RATES
National Bank of Georgia (NBG) declared about start of publication of term rates of TIBR (Tbilisi InterBank Rate of crediting), based on interbank transactions. The term rates will be published on the web site of NBG daily, by 10:00 local time.

ECONOMY MINISTRY: NEGOTIATIONS WITH INVESTORS OF “NAMAKHVANHES” ARE COMPLETED
Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development declared about completion of negotiations with investors of NamakhvanHES. As the Ministry noted, text of the respective agreement will be considered at the government meeting, then it will be signed and construction works will be launched.
GEORGIAN COMPANIES PRESENTED PRODUCTION AT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION IN HONG KONG
Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry’s Produce in Georgia Agency reported that Georgian companies Gepherrini, Cosmo and Humanoid presented own production at APLF, international leather fair in Hong Kong. Within the event, the Georgian companies held meetings with potential customers and signed agreements, the Agency said.
OWNER OF CONTROLLING SHARE IN “STEREO+” PLANS TO APPEAL TO STRASBOURG COURT
David Zilfimiani, the owner of the controlling stake of Stereo+, the first Georgian private multiplex operator, plans to continue a lawsuit in Strasbourg Court, the company reported. In parallel, Zilfimiani filed 2 claims to the Constitutional Court of Georgia.
