CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS: ANTI-EUROPEAN AND ANTI-AMERICAN STATEMENTS OF “GEORGIAN DREAM”, WHICH BECAME MORE FREQUENT IN RECENT PERIOD, DAMAGE NATIONAL INTERESTS OF GEORGIA
The Georgian Dream’s anti-European and anti-American statements and attacks against ambassadors of Georgia’s strategic allies and friends, which became frequent recently, are damaging national interests of our country and pose direct threat to its future, Georgian civil organizations pointed in the letter released today. Despite this, civil society will continue to defend the Western future of our country and will do everything to achieve the main foreign policy goal of our country – to return to the family of European nations and end Russia’s occupation of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region, the organizations declared.
“TI GEORGIA” AND ISFED: STUDY REVEALED LARGE-SCALE SCHEME OF ILLEGAL MOBILIZING VOTES IN FAVOR OF “GEORGIAN DREAM”
TI Georgia, Georgian branch of Transparency International, and International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) declared that the study revealed a large-scale scheme of mobilizing votes by illegal means in favor of the ruling party (Georgian Dream). This scheme, with a high probability, confirms the use of state agencies, including law enforcement agencies, for electoral/party purposes, organizations pointed.
“TI GEORGIA”: LLC “BORANI”, ASSOCIATED WITH “GEORGIAN DREAM”, WINS TENDERS IN ZESTAPONI, TERJOLA AND BAGHDATI MUNICIPALITIES
TI Georgia, Georgian branch of Transparency International, declared that LLC Borani (road construction), associated with the ruling Georgian Dream, permanently wins tenders held in Zestaponi, Terjola and Baghdati municipalities (Imereti region). From 2013 to July 12, 2022 the LLC won tenders and simplified procurement contracts with total cost of 34.97 million lari, TI Georgia reported.
HEAD APPOINTED TO GEORGIAN SPATIAL AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
Ioane Menabde has been appointed head of Georgian Spatial and Urban Development Agency, reported Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. At various times, Menabde worked in public and private structures (New City Development, Colliers International Georgia).

IN JUNE, GEORGIA’S INDUSTRIAL PPI INCREASED BY 15.4% Y-O-Y
Sakstat reported that in June, Georgia’s industrial producer price index (PPI) has increased by 15.4%, if compared with the same month of 2021. If compared with the previous month (May), the index has decreased by 0.05%.
IN JUNE, TRANSPORT AND WAREHOUSING PPI INCREASED BY 4.8% Y-O-Y
Sakstat reported that in June, Georgia’s producer price index (PPI) in transport and warehousing has increased by 4.8%, if compared with the same month of 2021. If compared with the previous month (May), PPI has increased by 1.7%.
IN JUNE, TELECOM PPI INCREASED BY 0.1% Y-O-Y
Sakstat reported that in June, Georgia’s producer price index (PPI) in telecommunications has increased by 0.1%, if compared with the same period of 2021. If compared with the previous month (May), PPI has decreased by 0.01%.

GEORGIAN-POLISH COMPANY STARTED PRODUCTION OF BLUEBERRY SEEDLINGS IN GARDABANI MUNICIPALITY
Georgian-Polish company Agromax Decor started production of blueberry seedlings in the village of Sartichala (Gardabani municipality of Kvemo Kartli region). As Georgian Rural Development Agency reported, the company has invested over 500,000 lari in seedling farm.
