LAW “ON REHABILITATION AND COLLECTIVE SATISFACTION OF CREDITORS” TO ENTER IN FORCE IN 2021

Law “On Rehabilitation and Collective Satisfaction of Credits” will enter in force in April 2021. Georgian Parliament adopted the document in third (final) hearing last week.




CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SUPPLYING INFRASTRUCTURE IN CHIATURA IS COMPLETED

Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reported about construction of new headwork new head structure, water-collecting tank, water distribution network and wells in Chiatura (Imereti region).

As the Ministry said, the project worth over 43 million lari was implemented through financing of Asian Development Bank (ADB).

IN 2019, NET PROFIT OF “GWP” INCREASED BY 21%

Georgian Water&Power (GWP) reported net profit of 35.2 million lari for 2019. According to audited report of this Tbilisi water supply and sewerage company, the volume has increased by 21% year-on-year.




“GEORGIAN LEASING COMPANY” FINISHED H1 WITH LOSS

Georgian Leasing Company reported loss of 3.8 million lari for the first half of the year. In the same period of 2019, the company had net profit of 1.5 million lari, while profit for entire 2019 made up 3.9 million lari.




AS OF JUNE 30, PROFIT BEFORE TAXATION OF “TBC CAPITAL” DECREASED BY 6.4% Y-O-Y

TBC Capital reported profit before taxation of 417,175 lari for the first half of the year. If compared with the same period of 2019, the volume has decreased by 6.4%.




AS OF JUNE 30, PROFIT OF “CARTU BROKER” INCREASED BY 5.6% Y-O-Y

Cartu Broker reported profit of 30,273 lari for the first half of the year. If compared with the same period of 2019, the volume has increased by 5.6%.
