    GEORGIAN PRIME MINISTER: WITH US STATE SECRETARY WE AGREED THAT WE HAVE TO DEEPEN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP EVEN MORE

    “In the end, we agreed that we have to deepen even more our countries’ strategic partnership, based on common values”, Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia declared today, while commenting on a visit to Georgia of the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo (November 17-18). These values are freedom, democracy and common geostrategic interests, he noted.

    “PRODUCE IN GEORGIA” PROGRAM TO BE EXPANDED WITH MECHANISM OF ASSISTANCE TO PROJECTS WITH FOREIGN INVESTMENTS

    Natia Turnava, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, declared today that “Produce in Georgia” state program will be expanded with mechanism of assistance to projects with foreign investments.

    The matter concerns companies, created with participation of foreign capital, which plan to enter Georgian market, to launch new manufacturing or to relocate existing manufacturing to the country.


    “DETECTOR OF WASTES”: IN 2017-2020, TBILISI CITY HALL SPENT 5.06M LARI FOR NEW YEAR’S LIGHTING OF THE CITY

    Non-governmental organization Detector of Wastes declared that in 2017-2020, Tbilisi City Hall spent 5.06 million lari for New Year’s lighting of the city.

    The organization specified that in 2019, the City Hall spent in total 3.17 million lari for decoration of city streets and acquisition of a New Year tree.

    IN 2019, LOSS OF “BORJOMI-LIKANI INTERNATIONAL” INCREASED 2.9 TIMES

    JSC Borjomi-Likani International reported loss of 9.9 million lari for 2019. According to report of this company, operating 5-star hotel in Borjomi, the volume of loss has increased 2.9 times year-on-year.


    IN 2019, LOSS OF “BLACK SEA ARENA” DECREASED 2 TIMES

    LLC Black Sea Arena reported loss of 2.2 million lari for 2019. According to audited report of this state-owned entertainment complex in Shekvetili (Guria region), the volume of loss has increased 2 times year-on-year.


    IN 2019, NET PROFIT OF “IDS BORJOMI GEORGIA” INCREASED BY 34.5%

    LLC IDS Borjomi Georgia reported net profit of $4.4 million for 2019. According to audited report of this bottler of Georgian mineral water Borjomi, the volume of loss has increased by 34.5% year-on-year.


    “GPIH” FINISHED 9 MONTHS OF THIS YEAR WITH PROFIT

    GPIH reported net profit of 3.6 million lari for the 3rd quarter. According to report of this Georgian insurance company, loss for the same period of 2019 made up 1.99 million lari.


    AS OF SEPTEMBER 30, PROFIT OF “PSP” INCREASED ON YEAR GREW BY 24.8% Y-O-Y

    PSP Insurance reported net profit of 1.46 million lari for the 3rd quarter. According to report of this Georgian insurance company, the volume has increased by 24.8% year-on-year.
