   State Audit Service has published report, according to which bonuses, paid in Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Council) in 2014, exceeded 4 million lari. Out of total sum, 90% was paid during 6 months of the year, the newspaper notes.

   Club of Diplomats, founded by former ambassadors of Georgia, considers that appointment of Giorgi Kvirikashvili (former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development) as Foreign Minister is “a message, that advantage was given to economic instead of political model”.

   “Moving focus from politics to economic is implemented through minimization of political, diplomatic activity”, members of the Club say, noting at that: “Growing economic crisis in the country indicates that neither economic effect could be reached this way”.

   Author of the article (Zurab Garakanidze, Doctor of Economic, professor) considers that a row of amendments should be made to law “On Free Industrial Zones”.

   In particular, it is necessary to specify that industrial zone is established for limited period, but no less than 5 years.

   Director of Tbilisi Zoo Zurab Gurielidze declared that new Zoo, which will be opened after 3 years at least, might appear among the biggest ones in Europe. If the old Zoo had occupied 9 ha, area of the new one will be almost 6 times bigger, he says.

7. NEW INVESTMENT REQUIREMENTS SET FOR “LABEY DEVELOPMENT”

   Namely, the company should secure construction and launch of hotel of 70 rooms at least in Tbilisi (Chavchavadze Ave. 31) within 24 months after signing the amended contract.

   According to calculations of power engineering specialist Miron Pirtskhelani, consumer tariff for electricity has to make 13 tetri (per 1 KWh) at most in conditions of existing monopolized market, while will not exceed 10 tetri, if the market is free and competitive, the newspaper reports.

   Tariff of hydroelectric stations makes up 3-3.5 tetri, share of dispatching and transmission is 1 tetri, while share of distribution companies should not exceed 7 tetri in any way, Pirtskhelani points.

    This is result of 2.5-year ruling of Georgian Dream and “unreasoned economic policy of of Ivanishvili’s government”, the oppositional MP declared at a briefing.

15. 2M LARI TO BE INVESTED IN CONSTRUCTION OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL COMPLEX IN TBILISI

    By decree of the Prime Minister, state-owned non-agricultural land site with total area of 1.855 square m with buildings, located on Sandro Euli Street in Tbilisi, will be handed over to LLC Kumuri through direct sale.

    For the property, the company will pay 775,000 lari within 18 months, according to agreed schedule.
