FINANCE MINISTER: PLAN OF TAX REVENUES IS OVERFULFILLED BY 5.1%
Finance Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili declared that tax revenues, mobilized in the state budget for 6 months, amount to 4.28 billion lari, making up 105.1% of the plan.
At that, tax revenues’ mobilization in the consolidated budget amounted to 4.75 billion lari (105.4% of the plan), exceeding indicator of the same period of 2016 by 14.2%.
FINANCE MINISTER: AS A RESULT OF INCOME TAX REFORM, COMPANIES RETAINED ABOUT 120M LARI IN MAY
Finance Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili declared that as a result of income tax reform, companies retained about 120 million lari in May. “This year, the sum that remains in economy as a result of income tax reform will amount to 500 million lari”, he pointed.
OIL-PRODUCTS IMPORTERS UNION: IMPORT OF PETROL AND DIESEL FUEL DECREASED BY 13.7%
Georgian Union of Oil-Products Importers declared that import of petrol and diesel fuel for the first 6 months of this year made up 456,700 t. If compared with the same period of 2016, the volume has decreased by 13.7%, the Union specified.
ENERGY MINISTER: GAS PIPELINES OF 230 KM ARE BUILT, TOTAL INVESTMENTS MADE UP $116M
Gas pipelines of 230 km were built in Georgia within development of domestic network, total investments made up $116 million, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze declared today, while reporting on 5-year activity in the office.
According to the Minister, “The 10-year plan of natural gas infrastructure development is prepared, which is in full compliance with the country’s growing demand for energy resources and requirements in sphere of energy safety, envisaged by the Association Agreement with the EU”.
ENERGY MINISTER: IN HYDROENERGETICS, 145 PROJECTS ARE NOW AT VARIOUS STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT WITH TOTAL COST OF $5.84B
Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze declared that in hydroenergetics, there are 145 projects now at various stages of development with estimated investments, totaling to $5.84 billion.
Among them, 43 power plant projects with total installed capacity of 1,457 MW and estimated investments of $2.5 billion are at the stage of licensing and construction, while remained 102 projects with estimated capacity of 3,721 MW are at the stage of study, the Minister specified.
KAZAKH PARTY ACQUAINTED CHAIR OF AJARA GOVERNMENT WITH INVESTMENT PROPOSALS
Chairman of Ajara government Zurab Pataradze met representatives of Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGas, the government of autonomy reported.
As the government said, the Kazakh party acquainted the head of Ajara government with investment proposals.

Working out of land use and development plan of Telavi (Kakheti region) begins.
