GEORGIA AND KOREA HELD NEGOTIATIONS ON INVESTMENT PROMOTION AGREEMENT
On November 28-29, Georgia and Korea held the 3rd round of negotiations on a draft agreement on promotion and protection of investments, reported Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The 3rd round of negotiations was held in Seoul.

Short-term forecast of TBC Capital says that deflation is possible in Georgia in November compared to October. TBC Capital points to noticeable decrease of inflation in recent period, decreasing trend in commodity prices and normalization of economic growth.

In 9 months of this year, import of petrol and diesel fuel to Georgia totaled to 866,700 t, reported Georgian Oil-Products Importers Union. If compared with the same period of 2021, the volume has increased by 1.4%, the organization said.
IN 9 MONTHS, NET PROFIT OF GEORGIAN MICROFINANCE ORGANIZATIONS INCREASED BY 3% Y-O-Y
National Bank of Georgia reported that in 9 months, total profit of Georgian microfinance organizations made up 81.23 million lari. If compared with the same period of 2020, the volume has increased by 3%.

“GEORGIAN UNITED WATER SUPPLY COMPANY” FINISHED 2021 WITH PROFIT
In 2021, net profit of the state-owned LLC Georgian United Water Supply Company made up 37 million lari. In 2020, the company had loss of 205 million lari.
IN 2021, LOSS OF “TBILISI TRANSPORT COMPANY” INCREASED
In 2021, loss of LLC Tbilisi Transport Company (100% owned by Tbilisi City Hall) made up 173 million lari. If compared with 2020, the loss has increased in volume by 15.3%.
IN 2021, “STATE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY” DIDN’T IMPLEMENT NEW PROJECTS
In 2021, LLC State Construction Company did not implement new investment and construction projects, says the fiscal risks analysis document, enclosed by the Georgian government to the draft state budget-2023. Accordingly, compared to the previous year, the company’s revenues and expenses have decreased.
IDFI: “LUKOIL GEORGIA” HAS BEEN ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN GEORGIA’S PUBLIC PROCUREMENTS FOR YEARS
LUKOil Georgia has been actively involved in public procurements in Georgia for years, the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) indicated. From 2010 to June 2022, the company has signed up to 3,000 automotive fuel supply contracts with Georgian state agencies worth 200 million lari, IDFI reported.
